"On Judd Grossman's new album his distinctive voice and guitar playing alone are enough to make this an exceptional album, but wait until you hear these great songs and his supporting cast. Tim and Mollie O'Brien add their vocal and fiddle talents, while John Magnie (the subdudes) delivers his infectious accordion playing and singing. This is Grossman's third release and features 10 original compositions and a couple of cover tunes, including a poignant version of T.L.C.'s "Waterfalls." This is an album of soothing melodies and soft vocals along with plenty of upbeat grooves and biting rhythms. Suggested tracks: "Waterfalls", "Christmas Tree."
